SJ-500 has been newly lined up to the industrial ink-jet printers which CTC Japan has been providing. SJ-500 has been substantially enhanced with the print quality and the print speed compared with SJ-300 which was launched last year.
As for the print quality, SJ-300 has 360 dpi resolution, whereas SJ-500 has high resolution of 600 dpi similar to the laser printer. In addition, as for the print speed, SJ-300 has a running speed at 30m/min. for 360 dpi selected or at 60m/min. for 180dpi selected, whereas SJ-500 has higher running speed at 50m,/min. for 600 dpi selected or 100m/min. for 300 dpi selected. SJ-500 is the high-quality and high-speed printer, which is just like the laser printer quality was transplanted to an industrial use ink jet printer. |

| New Stream Jet, SJ-500 is designed to arrange print head (108mm width) combination from one head to five heads flexibly and effectively, and the printable width is approx. 541mm Max. when five heads are configured. The printout density is 600 dpi~600 dpi or 300 dpi~600 dpi available. The print speed is running at 60m/min. Max. for 600 dpi~600 dpi or 100/min. Max for 300 dpi ~600 dpi.
MS Windows XP is used for the controller platform similar to SJ-300, which enables to keep the cost lower for introduction, maintenance and system development. Additionally the controller is also our developed gVIPSh, which is friendly to operate software. The Stream Jet is designed to be flexible to be incorporated into a wide variety of industrial equipments for various industrial fields. |
