Feature of printer head

| SJ-500 is designed to connect 5 print heads at maximum. Print width is 108mm per one head. Maximum print size comes to 558mm wide x 1000mm long when maximum 5 heads are incorporated. SJ-300 is designed to connect 16 print heads at maximum. Print width is 36mm per one head. Maximum print size comes to 576mm wide ×1000mm long when maximum 16 heads are incorporated. For both of SJ-300 and SJ-500, when two or more heads are connected, the print heads should be configured with aligned in a zigzag manner. The applicable ink is monochrome UV ink or single color UV ink.

| SJ-500 has horizontal resolution of 600 dpi or 300 dpi selectable while SJ-300 has that of 360 dpi or 180 dpi selectable. SJ-500 has vertical (paper-feed directional) resolution of 600 dpi fixed while SJ-300 has that of 360 dpi fixed. A print margin is not required both for the cut-sheet or the continuous-form paper used. |
Controller

| The controller controlling the StreamJet is connected with “VIPS”, a high-function layout and output software developed by our company, which displays the best performance. “VIPS”, a Windows-based layout software, can design and adjust printing programlessly by mouse operations by GUI and it can confirm the output data by WISIWYG or can do proof-output by hard copy. Although"VIPS"has a high information capacity, it can be used by a person who has only knowledge of word processor without professional knowledge of programming. Compared to programming by programmers, it has more efficient productivity, and for it, there is no need to prepare data in advance even for numbering with complicated check digit with weight because “VIPS” itself has the function to generate data and total efficiency of work is improved by using the function of change in data arrangement considering the distance after typing.
